Spin Magazine - yep, that Spin with Fall Out Boy on the cover...had these nice little things to say about us in the regional events section:
March 9 - JONAH - Doug Fir Lounge
Tonight is the release party for this Portland quartet's new album, Trust Everyone Before They Break Your Heart, a gorgeous, lush collection of Britpop tinged with classic Northwest melancholy.

The amazing Bill Bentley wrote the first review of Trust Everyone Before the Break Your Heart for the Studio City Sun! Here's the text:
Jonah, Trust Everyone Before They Break Your Heart Portland,Oregon has always had an intriguing rock scene, and while it seems to have been quiet lately, that could change with Jonah's new album. For a Pacific Northwest band to get favorable comparisons to Coldplay and Radiohead is no easy feat, and the good news in Jonah's case is that they're entirely deserved. Henry Curl's voice is equal parts power and passion, as it should be, and the groups songs allow him to show a whole range of emotions, from high to low and all that are in-between. At a time when rock music seems to be casting a wide net in search of its future, watch for Jonah to be in the frontline of those harvesting the catch.
